So I got a new computer yesterday, after getting the idea and telling myself no, I wouldn't get a new computer, and then going and buying the computer anyway. I probably could've gotten a better deal at Best Buy, but of course, my lack of patience destroyed that. I'm telling myself that this is my 'big' purchase of electronics for the year. (The Vita doesn't count because my dad is getting me that, GAH, I'm so privileged to live this life... I feel bad and I shouldn't, but I feel bad anyway.) And that I shouldn't do any other big purchases this year. (Like spending over 100 dollars in one pop, and hopefully staying under 50-60 dollars(for video games) and under 20(for books). And I can't just buy buy buy either, I have to actually pay attention to my spending and even not buy something when I could've bought it. *gasp* What a novel idea!

I have this really bad habit of going into a store and feeling like I have to buy something to feel accomplished with myself. I need to get into the feeling of being accomplished about not buying anything. :) That's really something to feel accomplished about, not spending my savings. My dad tells me that if I won't listen to his advice that I have to make my own mistakes. I think he's right (he's always right I just don't always listen) It's just... I don't want to make mistakes. But hey, I know I'll always get up from my mistakes right? Hopefully? But anyway, I'm excited about my new car and my new computer and my cross-country road trip to get surgery. Geeze, after I'm done with all this I really need to watch my savings like a hawk. It's enough to make me think that the world is going to end 12/21/12 and I'm just preparing for the end and having fun with the life I have left to live.
